Tour Plan

Day 1: Welcome to Uganda & Travel Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early rise for breakfast in a hotel in Kampala and later, meet your driver guide for a warm welcome to Uganda. After, travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park to experience its true wilderness, discover why it is dubbed medley of wonders.

The route to drive to this park will be Kampala-Masaka-Mbarara route with expected stopover at the Equator crossing, stand at a point which divides the earth into two: The Northern and Southern hemispheres. Continue with your journey to Western Uganda to check in at your comfortable accommodation. Enjoy long evening relaxation, dine and spend a night.

Travel time: 7-8 hours

Day 2: Morning Game drive & Afternoon Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel

Leave your luxurious accommodation for a 6:30am safari game drive via Kasenyi sector for 2-3 hours. Driving in 4x4 safari vehicle with pop-up roof via the sweeping savanna plains of Kasenyi while sighting buffaloes, lions, leopards, elephants, the spotted hyenas, Uganda Kobs, Waterbucks, bush bucks, giant forest hogs, bird species and more.

Get back to your comfortable place of stay for lunch and relaxation, then join others for boat cruise on Kazinga channel when fully refreshed. 2-3 hours of Kazinga channel boat comes with surprising aquatic animal encounters such as hippos, crocodiles, birds such as white billed stork, shoebill storks, saddle bellied stork, African jacanas, fish eagles, malachite, white faced whistling duck and more.

Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura & Travel to Kampala/Kigali

Enjoy an early cup of tea or coffee, after leave the lodge for briefing about DOs and DON’Ts for chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge. Tracking chimpanzees at Kyambura Gorge begins at 8:00am with an experienced guide and you will be observing a lot more of other primates such as colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, olive baboons, etc. After, check out of the lodge if you didn’t and travel back to Kampala or Kigali city.
